 Rachel Burke

2008-2009    Rachel Burke, PharmD

Rachel Burke graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with her Pharm.D. degree in 2008.  She completed the Community Pharmacy Practice residency program in its first year of existence.  Dr. Burke currently has a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor with the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at Creighton University, and she works at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as a clinical pharmacist in Ambulatory Care.  Her practice interests include endocrinology, cardiology, and anticoagulation.

   Laura Viereck

2009 - 2010    Laura Viereck, Pharm.D.

Laura Viereck graduated from South Dakota State University with her Pharm.D. degree in 2009.  She completed the Community Pharmacy Practice residency program in June 2010.  Dr. Viereck currently has a faculty appointment as an Assistant Professor with the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions at Creighton University and she works works with patients and Family Medicine physicians and residents at the Creighton Medical Associates - Florence Clinic. Her professional interests include diabetes management, anticoagulation management and smoking cessation.

 

2010 - 2011    Nicole Gillespie, PharmD

Nicole Gillespie graduated in 2010 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Creighton University.  She is currently completing the Community Pharmacy Practice Residency program at CUMC Clinic Pharmacy.  Nicole is the third resident in this program.  Her professional interests include chronic disease management with an emphasis on diabetes, lifestyle modifications, and academia.
